Daily Puzzle is an original mobile service developed in collaboration with internationally reknowned Puzzle Master Scott Kim. Three new brainteaser puzzles become available every day for players to answer. Answers are submitted to a server that tracks both individual performance statistics and that of the overall player community.
I was closely involved with the development of this service from conception to implementation, from brainstorming on community participation features, to defining a format and tool for puzzle authoring, and finally delivering the shipping J2ME client application.
The client code significantly improves upon the custom UI framework I developed for FOX Sports Mobile to provide a consistently themed look and feel throughout the entire application even across different handsets.
